Russell Winter top British seed for Rip Curl Boardmasters

31/07/2006:// Winter, who is in 31st place on the World Qualifying Series pro tour, has had a great season so far with victories in Scotland and The Maldives.
The 31-year-old is seeded into round two at Newquay's Fistral Beach against Morocco's Abdel El Harim.
Newquay's Mark Harris also goes in the second round against South Africa's Travis Logie.
More than 130 surfers are taking part in the contest including defending champion Antonio Bortoletto, Darren O'Rafferty and WQS champion Adriano de Souza.
Greg Emslie, Mickey Picon and Eric Rebiere also feature at the week-long festival.
Jayce Robinson has been given the event wildcard and is up against Tanner Gudauskas, from America, and Australian Tevita Gukilau.
