News 100% organic t-shirts from Loose-Fit

Devon retailer introduces environmentally sensitive clothing range by Howard Swanwick

16/08/2006:// Surf inspired and artist designed, Loose-Fit T-shirts are made from 100% organic cotton - farmed, manufactured and printed under fair trade agreements. They are produced to the highest standard and printed using Soil Association accredited organic inks.

A single typical conventional cotton t-shirt uses about 150 grams of acutely toxic pesticides and insecticides. A Loose-Fit garment uses none. Not only is organic cotton better for the environment but also the end result is an especially soft, comfortable and hardwearing garment. And, naturally, your skin can't absorb any toxic pesticides when you wear organic cotton clothing.

"The new t-shirts make up the perfect combination" said Scott Burrows, Loose-Fit Retail & Environmental Manager. "First and foremost they are great designs that subtly remind us of the yesteryear of surfing - that appeals to both surfers and non-surfers alike. Second, because they are organic, they are incredibly soft and lovely to wear and finally, not only is the cotton we use organic but the ink is organic too - we believe this to be a real first in our industry."

With each design produced in a variety of colours, both men's and women's t-shirts are available to purchase online at www.loose-fit.co.uk and are also available from selected retailers in the UK.

Loose-Fit are currently looking for UK & European stockists - trade enquiries should email trade@loose-fit.co.uk
