This afternoon, the San Diego County Department of Environmental Health (DEH) closed the beach 300 feet North and South of the Imperial Beach pier after a 70 gallon sewage leak from a line on the pier. by Serge Dedina

20/01/2007:// On the same note, WiLDCOAST is looking into the case of a high school surf team that got sick after surfing I.B. last year. One of the surfers has had multiple surgeries to treat a serious sinus infection. The infection is pretty close to his eye (right behind it) and has caused
some disfigurement. He's back in the hospital again...
