Working with shapers like John Belik and Mike Hynson must have got your boards a lot of attention?
The last 10 years I have had a lot of fun designing with guys like Belik and Hynson. We collaborated on a number of designs that became popular in the US and Japanese markets. Learning and testing with guys that are masters of the craft make the process an experience. Every shaper/designer has his own approach to design and good surfing. The collaboration became more like a journey of refinement.
